Linda Brieda focuses on writing and directing
narrative short films. Some of her completed
works are FIVE MINUTES WITH ANNE,
PIECES OF CAKE, and ONE FOR SORROW.
She has also been involved in the production
and direction of documentary films.
For example QUEST FOR LIGHT, which
illustrates renewable energy practices in India,
LIVING UNDER THE ONE-CHILD-POLICY -
THE FANG SHA STORY, taking place in China
and I AM VIVIAN, an exploration of a homeless immigrant who is confronted with schizophrenia in New York.
Her works-in-progress include a short documentary CLAY, which portraits the challenges of women in rural India and a feature length screenplay NIGHT FOR DAY.
